Daily Wrap

The new month started on a mostly downbeat note as higher than expected inflation numbers came out of Europe (France and Spain yesterday and Germany today), and stagflationary ISM manufacturing data and hawkish comments from a couple of Fed officials. The ISM Manufacturing Index edged higher to 47.7% from 47.4% in January. A reading below…
