Economic Data Update

Initial Jobless Claims weren’t a surprise. Continuing Claims are at 3-yr high. It’s a mixed print. Employers are reluctant to let employees go, but for employees let go it is becoming more challenging to find a new job. The PCE “core” price index increased 2.1% after increasing 2.8%, this was just below the 2.2% expected….
