Intraday Update – FOMC Drift

It’s a pretty slow day, but Value stocks (+0.75%) have a performance edge over Growth stocks (+0.25%), thus the mega-caps lagging and Small Caps outperforming. SP-500 +0.55%, Dow +0.3% (Transports +0.5%), NASDAQ-100 +0.45%, Small Caps +1% Adding to the FOMC drift effect is volatility selling. VIX is down  -8.8%. Just look at the intraday chart……
