Despite quite a lot of positive news today, the major averages have faded. SP-500 -0.2%, Dow +0.3% (Transports -0.7%), NASDAQ-100 -0.25%, Small Caps -1.1% The good news includes: JPMorgan Chase (JPM +0.4%) and UnitedHealth (UNH +7.25) delivered better-than-expected Q2 earnings results.
