On the geopolitical front… The latest update is that the Nimitz carrier strike group arrives in the region this weekend, joining the Carl Vinson carrier already in the Arabian Sea. The Navy has also confirmed deployment of the carrier USS Gerald R. Ford to the Mediterranean. I don’t put much faith in what I hear…
